What we collect

When you send an enquiry, use the price estimator or message us on WhatsApp, we collect your name, contact number, email address (if you give one), the suburb you're in, and whatever you tell us about the job.

If you use the estimator, we also store the options you selected and the range you were shown, so we can pick up the conversation where you left it.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry, arrange a measure, prepare and send you a quote, and carry out the work if you go ahead. That's the core of it.

If you ticked the box asking us to keep you posted, we also send a short series of follow-up emails about your project. You can stop those at any time with the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every one — no explanation needed, and it takes effect immediately.

Who we share it with

Nobody, except the service providers that make this website work: Supabase (where the enquiry is stored) and Resend (which sends the email). Neither uses your details for their own purposes.

We do not sell, rent or trade your information. If we refer you to one of the trades listed on our partners page, we only pass on your details if you ask us to.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and quotes are kept for three years, which covers the workmanship guarantee period and any follow-up work. After that they're deleted.

Your rights under POPIA

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it entirely. Email us and we'll action it — normally the same week, and always within 30 days.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa if you think we've handled your information badly.

Cookies

This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies, and there's no third-party analytics running on it. The only thing we store in your browser is a login session, and that's only if you're the business owner signing into the admin dashboard.
